How does Josh Hamilton have a higher batting average than on base percentage right now ? I'm a bit confused.
Hamilton's batting average is .413 and his on base percentage is .404
How is this possible??

He must have a sac fly or two.

Somebody with a .300 batting average would have a higher....

Last year there were 17508 ABs with 45132 hits.
