Hi Just wondering has the depth of the beach gotten smaller at the Gran Bahia Principe Bavaro or Punta Cana ? I thought I read somewhere that the beach was washing away or eroding? We were there 3 years ago and loved the resort but do remember the beach...

Of the Bahia, we stayed at the Bahia in 2007 and 2009 and there was plenty of beach made me feel very claustrophobic, due to lack of beach.

We are staying at the Bahia Principe Tulum mid Feb. We will be located in the Club Principe area. Any suggestions for good room location? We like the beach and the pool. What if we decide to stay in the other Tulum area? Any suggestions there?

If staying at Bahia Principe Tulum, ask for building 12 - it's right at the walkway to the beach near the Gran Tortuga, where you can have breakfast and lunch, and also right at the beach bar will be staying at the bahia principe....

We stayed on the beach for all....
Beach is awesome, and that is what we go for.
We snorkeled every day and say a great variety of fish, sting rays, star fish and many others .
You can not tell the beach is man made.
- 11th this year.

I'd call each moderate.
They are only a 3-4 min walk from each other .
They have an overhead bridge making it easy to getHave stayed at both .
Bahia's bldgs are across the street from the beach.
