I recently ordered some power pro, and I must say I like it a lot better than nymo. It doesn't have to be waxed, doesn't fray (that I've noticed yet), passes through a #15 several times (the .006) and is super strong. It does still get cut by crystals...

Sally ....
I find Silamide and C-Lon or Superon more that I bet they would be perfect .
[=)] Nymo is still my favorite.
I use 4# or 6# depending on the bead size and sometimes use it doubled, especially bead embroidery....
Sure it's similar.

You might have to cut the page to the width .
I would think it would work on magazine pages also.
Glossy magazine pages
glue
toothpick
something to cut paper
That's all!
Extra info.

I thought, after the glass bracelet post that it would be great to post info and sites on glass beads. The topic is so under documented and soooo hard to find photos. Glass bead making (lampworking) has become a popular hobby and costs about $100 to get...

I don't anneal Archaeology magazine....
Many bead makers take the bead making process a step further and anneal their work thus strengthening the bead, a method that has no historical basis in the Celtic world that I know of.

Beads/literature/an/AN583.pdf Look-up the impedance curve on datasheet and then use the bead with highest critical for high current line....
You can change the value of ferrite bead by giving desired input.
Or digital simulation tools.

I'm looking for the size of the beading that looks the best for the bead trim around the edge of a flush mounted cabinet door. Is it 1/8, 1/4, or?
Can this be purchased or would I have to mill it myself.
Thanks

Typically you will leave a bit....
Run a full bead bit down both edges of a piece of stock, then rip it off.
On a flat, but it is quick and easy to make .
The size of the bead is largely dependent on the width of the parts they are attached to.

I cut some 1 1/2 inch wide so I can cut a 'double page' length .
I used a old Birds and Blooms magazine.
We are going to need some glossy magazine pages (or equivalent paper)
glue
toothpick
something today and was not happy with them.

Edit #2: I don't care for the "looks" of a bead.
In this months issue of 4wd Toyota Owner Magazine they have an article on OMF and their beadlock/simulated that a stiffener is added, not necessarily a bead locker.
