It was the F150 bed extender part number that said it wasn....
It mounts and if Line X sprayed over any mounting holes since I didn't have a bed extender at the time it to the part number on Tasca Parts, it didn't say anything.

Searching the on-line OEM parts retailers, the motorcycle bed extender is usually listed as a part for the '09-'11 model years. Was there some dramatic redesign of the bed that will prevent me from using one on my '07?

Adapters that let you use the bed extender with a soft tonneau installed on your bed.
It looks like they are about $50-55 new.

I took a ball peen hammer and gently pressed with the round .
The rubber feet really don't serve a purpose with the bed rug installed.
The rubber feet off the bed extender and everything lines up just fine.

I have a bed extender from a frontier with amp research brackets that bolt into the bed tie down spots. works fine and fits pretty damn good too. $50 bucks and its yours. When the extender is flipped on the tailgate it sits level and doesnt tilt down ...
