Benefits of angled pruning cut?

Ive seen some guys do major tree pruning and leave all the stubs angled no matter if the branch was horizontal or angled. Too me it just seems that your leaving a bigger area on the branch for the tree to close up. source

What saw are you running, and why?

Stihl 041 AV, I'll have had it 30 years in August. It has worked hard and well and other than 2 clutches and 9 or 10 bars and who knows how many chains it has been flawless. source

Plant roots?

I would but, It looks like it killing the main part of the plant. Almost like its sucking the life from the main plant. source

Do you eat any dried fruit?

If you have a farmer's market nearby with fresh berries, these are way better than candy. And no, you CANNOT get good quality berries at a supermarket. I used to live in the country and pick blackberries, raspberries and black raspberries from wild berry bushes and they shouldn't even have the same name as the crap you buy in plastic cartons in the produce section. If you haven't tried them, find some way to do so. source
