We repainted our house a dark green color (Sherwin Williams paint) about 5 or 6 years ago. Within a few years the paint began to fail so that the paint is heavily faded on the sides of the house that get the most sun. It looks terrible. It's possible ...

It took me a while to tryHi, Picking dark colors attracts the sun more which will result in the paint fading much sooner to have got a few years....
I was “set in my ways” and stuck with only one brand of paint (Benjamin Moore).
I'm going to be restaining my siding this summer. But the trim appears to have been mostly finished with paint instead of stain. Can I paint over this with stain instead of paint? Would I have to scrape it down to the wood to do so?

And yes, zero VOC on an exterior painting project? Aura would be my choice as well.
They are also Benjamin Moore's 1,2,3 in quality.
And Ben are all very low on VOC.

If anyone gets a chance Benjamin Moore has a excellent tour of....
You can tout how great a gallon of paint is but at $60 bucks a gallon but in this economy ( at least here) its really going to be a tough sell.
And SW reps last week.
