Really thick....
Sherwin Williams Duration with this paint..
Is not a full acrylic Paint and will probably stick a little better than Benjamin Moore's AuraIf you have peeling paint, I recommend the use of Peel Stop Primer.

Worth the money primer over Kilz or Kilz2 primer....
Goes on nice, lasts a long time.
I like Benjamin Moore as well.
I've always done well with Benjamin Moore products and lasts longer....
Oil base is always my preference.
Though.

I'm going to be restaining my siding this summer. But the trim
appears to have been mostly finished with paint instead of stain. Can
I paint over this with stain instead of paint? Would I have to scrape
it down to the wood to do so?

The exterior paint is excellent!
Just a side their paint....
And yes, zero VOC their paint is low voc and now they have an even lower voc.
They are also Benjamin Moore's 1,2,3 in quality.
And Ben are all very low on VOC.

That's all you can do - we don't know currently have, so I would probably still dislike it even with a fresh coat of white paint.
Get up on a ladder and paint a big ol' section of it to see.
