It's clear that beta blockers are frequently prescribed for conditions that many of us have. But sometimes beta blockers do not work... and if things get bad enough we are prescribed some other meds. In my case, it was flecainide. They thought I had CPVT...

I went to the doctors yesterday as I am plagued with migraines. She has prescribed me propranolol which is a beta blocker and is also to treat loads of things as well as migraines.
Does any one else use them?

Dont bother with your heart rate if your on beta blockers no matter what the dose it just wont be an accurate measure of your rate of exersion.
But I swear it makes a difference.
As a placebo lol.

The beta blocker dosage has been reduced to 12 mg 2x daily a healthy diet and I exercise so trying to avoid it as long as I can.
Medically managed, no stent or bypass.

Do you have ad blockers on your browsers, I don't at the moment but was thinking about it although ads can be a bit of a pain I think that I will be able to put up with them.

The extension called Adblock Plus (Beta), not the one simply called Adblock which does nothing at all for that.
