Crapload of snow. May I be the first to complain about the snow And to add insult to injury, my snow blower decided to act up before i was through. Did I mention how much I hate winter.

I'm running snow leopard. The try to open any .mov file in Quicktime, and I get an error message that says, "The document xyz.mov could not be opened. The movie is not in a format that Quicktime player understands. I'm a recent upgrade to Snow Leopard...

I just tried them on a Mac laptop in my house that was upgraded to Snow Leopard it needs.
They all worked fine prior to my upgrade to Snow Leopard are your options.
And I don't want to be converting them all.

It's almost an annual side discussion but I think it's worth getting in one place. Particularly the peculiarities of our snow compared to other continents. in days of 'yore "conservative forecaster" would provide wads of data on snow pack behaviour......

Sunday was still good, only a few inches of fresh snow, and some shin to knee deep pockets the steeper trees and chutes....
Not much new snow, so it'll be a chance to do board...
