For Excel add-ins (as you mentioned in your comment) I would recommend Delphi over C++ don't mind the Delphi syntax, then for most things you will find it better.

If, however you are using xslt 2.0 , might as well use xhtml , since that's what you are... .
As XHTML is an XML dialect, that's what I would use .
Wc3schools agree with this.
As far as I know, there is no method:xhtml to the xsl:output directive in xslt 1.0 .

V2 also includes the Virtual Infrastructure Client which you can use instead of the web access ( the client replaces the old console from v1) .
Windows Server 2008 is supported only in v2.
Vmware Server v2 can use v1 images.

I think it depends on your skill level with each Ruby and Java .
In my limited experience, RoR works much better when you allow it to create the necessary database there is a "better" solution.

A better idea is to implement ICollection<T> or IEnumerable<T> , and use the List<.
What you want.
You get strong typing and better performances to boot.
The generic List<T> instead.

Not to mention there's a limited amount of space in the QueryString - limited to the maximum size of a URL (2048 bytes in IE, other browsers... .
I would imagine because the QueryString is part of the URI of the page - and thus can be tampered with by the user .
