I dig hot dogs and really, even the dry 4% from Trader Joes I'd eat before any "hot dog" IMO there is nothing better to eat cole....
If there both there ya gotta have one of each .
Burger and a dog.

My GF wants me to make them but I never have. They sound easy enough. I'm stuck on what to serve as a side dish though. I don't usually make hot dogs. Any ideas? TIA!
ETA: The recipe calls for sliced American cheese. Could I use shredded cheddar instead...

No, I use beef them with hot....
Yummy! Now I'm craving this! I'm sure & cheese or any other dishes you would serve with hot dogs (baked beans come to mind).
Sometimes I serve them with soup.
With hot dogs in a regular bun.

I enjoy hot dogs and they are an easy thing to keep on hand to cut up and toss in a great salad for lunch.
I get the Oscar Mayer 98% Fat Free turkey dogs. But they taste s salty to me now. Have you found any low salt dogs and/or lunch meat brands??

The BallPark smoked turkey hot dogs are pretty good.
I think because they don't use all....and they dont seem salty to me .
They taste better to me than regular hot dogs.
