The Archimedes screw and the jet drive really aren't that different. Their basic theories of operation are exactly the same, really.

Difference between 3 and 2 blade props?
The 3-blade prop was commonly referred to as a power prop when they first came out. They are usually better in weeds and will give you more speed at a lower setting than a 2-blade prop.
If you are going to a 3-blade, I recommend the Kipawa. I've been very happy with mine, and so have most of the people who have posted about them here.

Nibral vrs Bronze Props?
The local PropScan rep theorized that the stronger less flexible Nibrils dissipate less energy when they hit something and that energy continues on up the line to shaft, hardware and transmission. I think he was implying that as good as they are-they are not the perfect solution for every situation.

Turnigy3542C 1100 kv,which prop for SPEED?
APC used to make a 10X10, I have several of them left, delicate! Do you have some way to accurately measure the speed of your FW-190? Sometimes it is hard to know if prop changes are helping or not.

Do I need a prop?
I believe you had a Michigan prop on that boat stock. IF you change over to an ACME you will see better hole shot and possibly a better wake. I have sent you a PM to discuss this further with you. Their is a lot to consider when changing the prop to get the best prop.
