Bass is better if I'm not near the speakers Does this make any sense? When I am 10 feet away (just happens to be to the right) of my speakers the bass is way better. Or in another room too.

Go for integrated Speaker/Amp combos though.
speakers will also go well as they are good.

Iknow kenwood sucks already but i took them out of another car I had so thought might try using them rather than buying something else since i need a pair of 4".
The one pair is kenwood kfc-1079ie
The other pair is kenwood kfc-1066

The Z506 is very well know..at least in this country, and delivers great performance...super for games...never heard of Edifier...nor can I find the site on the web...not a good sign! Logitech Z506 it has a great reputation....( u may buy it) .

Std Rears are even smaller than the fronts but there are some speakers to fit or go bigger speakers back there looked like....

Hey folks,
Need a pair of outdoor speakers for my deck. Went to the local big box (oxymoron ?) to give a listen. From their offerings, the Klipsch KHO-7 blew away the rest in both sound and unfortunately price.
Before I spend $300 on a pair of speakers...

Better Speakers - VIII ...?
Not looking for subs, amps, complete re-wiring and all that jazz. Just after something that means I can turn the volume past 3!
