Can you turn a Garmin street pilot 3 into a 295 with a soft ware change? The hardware looks identical.

However the Zumo isn't significantly cheaper than....
It, it's still more useable and shows more information than the current Garmin stuff and you can swap them out, but the Garmin Zumo (660?) appears to be the same size as the Aera.
Is is really worth buying? any recommendations of buying a garmin watch with gps. I really need one.

I'm not 100% but I don't think the 910 has to basically come a part during... .
I also like Garmin Connect to keep track of my workouts.
It's a little bulkier than some other GPS watches but I'm used to it now.
And it has screens for cycling.
Just got myself a Garmin GPS 62S does any other BA member have one, I might need some help with the mapping stuff. Tony

Better than your effort Garmin provided with the device, and the Garmin AusNZ Topo maps.
A little disappointed by the lack of detail on the Garmin maps.

I have a tracker maxima complete 30 dog system . How good is the garmin dc40 unit. Im thinking of switching . Are there any problems with the unit thanks.

There is just so much more things that you can do with the Garmin....
You just about have to give the tracker away to sell it now but it is better than no system at all pleased with the Garmin unit compared to the Tracker unit.

Uses normal batterys, so if it runs out, youI have a Garmin Dakota 10 for mapping and a Edge 500 for logging general ride data, also some phone apps are good but GPS on the phone....
So detail is much better than the stock maps as well.
Anyone have any luck with problematic GPS units and Garmin support? My battery stopped holding charge, I've only had it 2 years. Garmin USA told me to go to Raytech in Canada, which want over $90 for the repair (plus I seem to have to ship it to them ...

You could get a new Garmin 305 for not much more than that.
Garmin Nuvi 1310 or 1410 HI I ma going to purchase one of these - what advantages does the 1410 have other than the larger screen. Will both of these run t4 maps as well as the standard Garmaps?

Garmin can go and learn from Tomtom.
Really not impressed.

T4A has never had better info for me thanLast time I went to Mozambique we followed my BIL, so I didn't have to use the Garmin Garmin too and rec map set, but that....
And the road doesn't show on the Garmin, you'll be poked..
