Should I be afraid of this guy? There are other items for sale and he picked mine. Shows no purchases since 2004 and is bidding now? Do I wait to see if he pays and if he does, maybe not on the up and up. Just wondering your thoughts

A seller can cancel a bid for any reasons, a buyer is restricted to 3 reasons days after he canceled the bid with the reason "not able to contact the seller"wich is not true!
He know.
So he picked a lie.

I'm getting tired of having my bids cancelled by the seller! I think any time a seller cancels a bid the bidder should at least be able to leave feedback for the seller

Some will answer Strikes on your record or bid retractions? This is one possible reason, sellers may cancel bids ridiculous....
You can ask the seller why your bid(s) were canceled.

At least in the sports collectible categories, some item pages are not viewable giving various errors, which is blocking people from bidding. This is obvious as items are closing as we speak for much lower than they normally would.
Tested with proxies...

In 2 other instances, they bid and thus with the interest, the item received more bids eventually selling to another ....
In 3 instances it resulted with a sale (only the 1 bid) and great feedback.
Felt the need to put any on my BBL.
