I can use the sliding table and a Bies or clone that will allow you to use it on both the saw and router that it may not be worth.

The other cause is when the piece rotates off the rear of the fence and spins back.
Of kickback....it closes on the rear of the spinning blade and launches the workpiece toward the operator.
