Is there a way to tell if a bike on Craigslist is stolen? I've seen the recent threads on bike thefts, as well as threads on looking for bikes and parts on Craigslist, so that leads to my question. And have any of you ever found your or a friend's bike...

Craigslist is perfect to pawn things off on people instead of having to haul things to the dump.
I had a really old rear projection TV that went out, posted it on CL, and it was picked up the next day.
That saved me a trip.

Sucks hearing bad eBay/Craigslist stories, because often....
He tries to use paypal to rip me off after receiving the fork, and likely leaves me a negative, the person you sold to used the system to their advantage and ripped you off.
