On average, how many billable hours are your guys putting in a day, or what portion of their day is billable.
I had a plumber tell me that anything more than 60% is an unreasonable amount, whereas we do approx 90%.

This may be just a difference of definition. I prefer the term labor efficiency. In general commercial new construction maxes around 85% (6.5 hours production of 8 hours) and residential service maxes around 50% (4 hours production of 8 hours).
