Hi,
I have several sites around the country, all sites are using the Billiion BiPAC 7402GX router.
I need to setup bandwidth monitoring tools to allow me to see the sites visitied, amount of bandwith up and down, traffic volume over specific ports etc...

That said I'm not sure that the router, in particular that level of router, is where you should....
Given that particular broadband router supports SNMP v3 MIB-I/II you could script something to give you some of what you're looking for.

Hi all,
I had fibre 'installed' on Tuesday and have had numerous problems with the Huawei router issued.
I have my Billion modem/router being used as a router connecting all my devices through that unit with the Huawei acting as a conduit to the internet...

Billion router fails under load I've Googled in vain on this one.
I have a Billion 7402x, updated to the newest firmware, connected to a 4mb adsl.
If I leave my network untouched ( no activity on computers ) the line will remain active forever.
However...

Contacted Billion and we've had very little support to me.
Its not a major issue but the biggest frustration is the router can only handle 7 connections at a time.
For a minute or so at least once a day .

Very strange problem, could it be a faulty Billion 7800N?
Router has been working satisfactorily since purchase. Zen FFTC with BT openreach modem. Connected via 8 port switch to desktop pc's, windows home server, printers and wirelessly to several laptops...

Server is 192.168.0.3 and router is 192.168.0.1 and all devices fixed and mobile report correct router, gateway and DHCP server (0.1)

We just had a new internet connection (WiMAX type of thing) installed in one of our remote offices. The customer premises presentation is just an ethernet cable and basically the whole internet is looking in on that wire so I need to set up a firewall...

But be informed, that if your LAN will be accessible from outside of the world(internet it helps .
