Why are landlords raising the rent each year for long residing tenants? My rent has gone up tremendously each year. No problem. Cost of living...- understand that, but what I don't understand is why I'm seeing apartment ads all the time of my exact same...

I log into mint.com a few days before each of the 3 big bills are due (primary CC, rent periods/month), and now each payday that amount goes into the bill paying account toward next month's....

That is correct you can't really change the amount you pay for mortgage/rent etc and once you switch gas and elec this is also fixed so it comes down to food and luxiouries that you can....
Shopping habits I can save an awful lot in a month.
