Couple years was an offending add-on which included the Bing search problem as part of the add/ The Search Bar is the text bar found in the top right corner of the Firefox window.

Note that all the above approaches are akin to screen-scraping and hence quite sensitive to even minute changes in the Bing...

The data would be in your database, not loaded into an array for every request .
Looking at the docs for autocomplete, you would be making ajax calls to load the data .

Is there a way to search the web which does NOT remove punctuation? For example, I want to search for window.window->window (Yes, I actually do, this is a structure in mozilla plugins). I figure that this HAS to be a fairly rare string.

Edit: It is very unlikely you'll find a general purpose search engine which will allow you to search for something like....
Anyway they might be useful to you so I think they're worth mentioning .
They let you search exactly this string.
