EDIT: After looking again I don't think this is Sapphire... .
I dig it.
It seems like every kit out there with a fade finish fades to black at the bottom instead of a different shade altogether .
Beautiful kit !!! thanks very much eric Wow that's a cool finish .

Inspiring :-) Pacific FS Birch Drums
70's Ludwig? I would think standard spray paint would chip off with the first rimshot.
And I really like the work you do with these snare drums.

But that is just thanks guys.
Don't have an 8-lug die-cast hoop, and the person who commissioned this snare obviously wanted DC for that depth snare, and as a result of the lugs being too big they had to off-set them.

Would 'new' EC2/SST tom batters....
My kick has a single ply GMAD and EQ3 and my SC snare has G Plus and Hazy 300 heads respondees.
But everything else is the same.
Same sizes as yours....well my 16 is 13 deep.
G1 on my Starclassic birch toms.
