At 10 I was almost....
I took two baths, and walked(kind of).
:) Got there and was 5cm.
I had my daughter at the local birth center attended by my midwife Ann Tive, two days before was on the phone at home sick listening to the entire birth.

I'm starting this thread because we pregnant ladies find it comforting to know what really happens when you go into labour, be that everything going swimmingly or it involving mad rushes, lots of doctors and an emergency operation.

Can anyone tell me their med-free birth story? It is something I really want to do, and all of my girlfriends who are mommies think I am insane. They have actually laughed and said, "We'll see."
I have tried to explain to them how horrible my body reacts...

While I am so grateful that I had a healthy delivery, it was a little rough. (20 hours of labor - 2 hours of pushing, resulting in a c-section at 3am). My LO wasn't breathing at first and it was a little traumatic because I could see her just laying there...
