We started with the no-bite polish which actually works very well but has to be reapplied to her favorite thumb and finger every time she washes her hands.

There is a product that I found in the fake nails area in Wal-Mart. It is called "Kick the Habit: stop the bite". Mainly it is for biting nails and stopping this habit, but, is also used for stopping thumb sucking. It is working very well for my 3 1/2...
