Is the difference between black beans used in cuban cooking and black beans (hei dou) sold in China?
What is the difference between black beans used in cuban cooking and black beans (hei dou) sold in China? What about kidney beans and red beans (hong dou)?

No difference for the black beans, except Chinese black beans are often fermented (dow see) so beans are used to make red bean paste in Chinese cooking, I don't recall any usage for kidney beans if buying....

Which taste better Pinto re-fried beans or Black re-fried beans? Im making a vegetarian dinner for my family tonight, so ill be re-frying them myself.. I was just curious which taste better? And should i include rice or chopped potato in my burritos.....

I do have an idea for refried black beans, have the warm refried black beans in a bowl....
In fact, black beans are one of crunch.
I prefer refried black beans...and they are more healthy than pinto.

Amounts of baking soda over 1/8 teaspoon per cup of beans and cooking beans.
The bean cooking process has not been proved.
