Real quick question. I know their mesh sheets aren't really mesh. And their fleece sheets are 2 lbs lighter than their mesh sheets. so, in the summer would you use the fleece sheet or the mesh sheet? do any of you use either one? which do you prefer?

How much fleece do I need for a 2x3 liner?
I am planning to make two, and it is going to go over the sides. Therefore, I will need two 29"x43" pieces, four 13"x23" pieces and four 13"x43" pieces.
I plan to buy the fleece from Hancock Fabrics.

Fleece bedding liner using a mattress pad, which I already....
We use baking soda to cut down on the smell .
We washed the fleece and dried it 4-5 times (wash, dry, wash, dry, etc) in unscented liquid Tide, no dryer sheets or fabric softener.

Step 1: Buy 2 yards of fleece in your preferred color. Lay it out completely flat on the floor. Notice that it stretches width wise and not length wise; it does NOT stretch the length side of 2yards, but it does stretch the width side, about 45inches....

This tut is designed for "regular" fleece fabric that only has a 2 way stretch (binding people try it out too :]
I have extra....
fleece fabrics out there that have a 4 way stretch, so you very well might have cut them the other the other way.

I don't know anything much about using fleece....
Personally I would just.
What I finally settled soda and I'm still using it in the litter box in his new fleece-lined cage.
More problems with odor control and I quickly gave up on fleece.
