Or theres the possibility that the black hole sucks in the whole universe....
holes is a bigger black hole or the hope that another big bang will destroy everything before the black hole sucks in everything.

If matter simply orbits of them Basically they are defining "active" as when the black hole is interacting with another.
They are defining active as in when the black hole is consuming matter.

Black Holes really trip me out. But I have always been fascinated on where they actually lead to. My current thinking is that we are in a multiverse, and a black hole is a small tear in the fabric between two adjacent unverses with unequal pressure. A...

Black holes are the cold remnants of former stars, so dense that no matter—not even light—is able to escape their powerful gravitational pull.
While most stars end up as white dwarfs or neutron stars, black holes are the last evolutionary stage in the...

So, black holes do not "eat" everything! We can calculate black hole´s temperature, soI have heard of black holes their very interesting.

The event horizon of a black hole accelerates at the speed of light. Therefore the black hole accelerates at the speed of light( but is hidden behind the EH).
General Relativity states that mass can not accelerate up to the speed of light. Matter being...

Quark According to my understanding, a black hole is defined as an object whose mass is hidden behind an event horizon. According to its definition, an event horizon represents a boundary from which it takes an infinite time for light to reach a distant...

Most of what falls into a black hole into iron after only a few million years and collapse into a black hole.
Or some of it getting eaten since black holes are messy eaters.

To an external observer, an object falling into a black hole would take forever and never appear to reach it, due to gravitational time dilation.
1. Where is the boundary that the object never crosses? Wikipedia says it's the Event Horizon:

Hello,
Let me first start off by saying that I have no formal Education or background in Physics or Astronomy save for one course during college. This is simply posing an idea I had while reading an article on the acceleration of the expanding universe...

Since the Universe is accelerating....
Though plenty of people much smarter then me are looking at all possibilities .
I would guess that at least some of the accelerating expansion is due to stars acting as thrusters in all directions as they are emitting energy .
