UPDATE! Okay so....
I'm thinking on striping the TV down to the panel to see/signals.
AHHH!! Is it time to throw TV off with vertical lines and a T-con did nothing.
Changed it all out and THE LINE IS STILL THERE.

Has anyone ever tried this? I'm thinking of using a 42" 1080p plasma as a computer monitor from a distance of maybe 4-5 feet instead of the usual 20-24" from 2-3 feet. I've never really liked LCD for several reasons, but plasmas are so black and so cheap...
