Hey, sorry if this has already been posted and answered, but i am new lol.
The other day my tv (above) has just received a small thin black line at the top of it going from 1 side to the other.
I've searched a bit on Google and noticed that other brands...

As I mentioned before, my set #PN50C45OB1D) Which also had the thin black line that would come and go.
This evening another black line has appeared on my Samsung 50" plasma.

I have a LG Plasma 50" (50px4dr-UA) that started off with one solid intermittent black line through the screen that stops exactly half way down(Vertical). Eventually it stayed and became permanent. After about 3 months a 2nd one did the same thing and...

Diode 4 (D4) Looks like it is in good working condition to me: shop jimmy for this tv....

Hey guys, re-seated the cables already still did not fix the solid vertical line. I got my eyes on a new tcon/main board for an okay price but will this fix the problem. Any info extremely apprecaited!

UPDATE! Okay so....
I'm thinking on striping the TV down to the panel to see/signals.
AHHH!! Is it time to throw TV off with vertical lines and a T-con did nothing.
Changed it all out and THE LINE IS STILL THERE.

Has anyone ever tried this?
I'm thinking of using a 42" 1080p plasma as a computer monitor from a distance of maybe 4-5 feet instead of the usual 20-24" from 2-3 feet. I've never really liked LCD for several reasons, but plasmas are so black and so cheap...

Hi guys have a philips plasma tv. tv had no picture after some checks the tv had a blown top buffer and y-sus.
i repaired the y-sus and replaced both upper and lower buffers.
the tv now powers up with a scrambled colored blotchy picture?

I was in my local Asda recently and they were selling 43" (is this a strange or new size) Samsung plasma tv's for £299 is this a bargain or will they be crap .I have had my 42" Samsung 2 years now and fingers crossed no problems and I'm delighted with...
