I had the dpf removed from my 170 on Tuesday. It now chucks out alot of black smoke and I can also smell diesel inside the car. Is this normal?

The black smoke is as that's all the particles that your filter would have caught the dpf removed from my 170 on Tuesday.

So here's the issue I'm having I can drive my talon at half throttle and she'll get up and move just fine and get to 17 lbs of boost without a problem. But when I punch it, she'll kick out black smoke at 17lbs of boost and you can hear a pop from the ...

Also turn down your boost like fuel pressure regulator and wondering why it's blowing smoke? The regulator is being over run.

Lets say you have a truck with a smoke tune in it and another with a really clean virtually smoke free 100-150 hp tune in it. Which truck would run higher EGTs and why? I've always heard lots of black smoke means high EGTs yet there are a lot of trucks...

I have also seen well over 1300 degrees with hardly any smoke.

Im with a friend and he has me rev the motor in a parking lot to hear the BPV and removed resonator. When i come off the gas as the BPV sounds i release a little cloud of black smoke...
Could this just be bc of one removed resonator? have had it for 2...

Nervous Or your just running richer now, either way black smoke isn't really a big issue unless and if there is some poor SOB behind me they tend to get a cloud of black smoke in the face.

Hi Guys. I have an other question. I just noticed yesterday, when I started my '06 tdi that a cloud of smoke came out of the tailpipe. I never noticed it before. SO I drove around and got home and in the garage I reved the engine a bit high around 350...

I took it back to the dealer asked them to check the camshaft to MAKE black smoke....
I took it to the dealership better but still poured black smoke.
Time I accelerated fairly quickly, I got quite a bit of black smoke.

Black smoked DEPO crystal rear lights
Selling my black depo rear lights as i have finally managed to get the rear lights ive wanted for ages.
There in fair condition but not mint and do have some surface scratches but cant be seen when fitted.

Hi i have a transit 2.4 rwd, pannel van 2004 reg 125 bhp 330 white.
it takes 2 to 4 turns of the key to start then, 1 big grey to black cloud of smoke,
then when driveing up the gears lots of black smoke, 1st & 2nd gears lack of power then boots in when...

Assembly! She now starts better from cold, no black smoke and I can hear the EGR working now as well on the car so will see how good this stuff is at shifting black muck!
