Hi guys,
Need your advice.
I have a 2002 150 bhp Gt Tdi, which on hard acceleration blows out a lot of black smoke through the exhaust.
Not just a puff, I mean smoke screen standards I can even see a line of soot on the road where I had driven.

I know, your hoses and intercooler-by causing ....
And would this cause black smoke because I thought oil means blue smoke? If the car still drives fine a black smoke when this happened, but only under hard aceleration.

671 TIB - Heavy Black Smoke My 1989 Viking w/ 671 TIB's blows heavy black smoke when trying to turn more than 1000 RPM's. I have cleaned the intercoolers and air sep filters as recommended by a J&T mechanic. Any suggestions?

One of those things I've noticed is that deisel engines emit black smoke when under hard acceleration or being revved. It doesnt matter if its a beat-up old Fiat or a E Class Benz. While Petrols are cleaner. Even under hard acceleration they dont emit...

This is due to a air to fuel ratio imbalance, either the fuel system is delivering too, mostly toxic chemicals, including benzene, butadiene, dioxin and mercury compounds Black smoke like the Swift, Palio and Octavia....

Why have a suddenly started omitting ll kinds of black smoke, and my character is really dark now. It happens every once in a while. Any ideas?

I have a lot of black smoke at idle. lots when cold, it gets a bit better when warms up.
I know I have a bad vacuum leak that I need to fix, I'm reading 6in/hg but I'm not sure it would cause the amount of black smoke I have out the exhaust.

I have seen cars idle at 10:1 without any appreciable black smoke...
However it could be a combination if issues...
And oil smoke is usually NOT pure black...
But cant be real sure..

The AC alone should , the refs struggled to pick up and then i noticed the black smoke, tons of it :eek: I switched of the AC that the vehicle would not....
Loss of power could be many things.

If it just one then i'd bet it would be that injector leaking you a PM i recently pulled all my plugs and found that there's a build up of black soot on each, they were all black soot, none was worse than....
If one or all are black.
