However when testing on a device you will need to use a different transport if it is not connected to a BES server... .
The sample apps all assume that the device is connected via MDS to a BES server, which is true in the simulator (using the MDS simulator) .

Check the event log (Application log) of the BES of the troubleshooting I've set up a handset on a default policy and tested the wap/internet browser - this works fine scalable HTTP....
But Blackberry browser still doesn't load images.
