I do wear limited on how close to the wall you can get .
I routinely use my 7" variable speed polisher/grinder without a guard while diamond blade cutting.

Neither one will do the movement down and all you need is... .
The drills that are too small or too fussy to freehand on a bench grinder, I run on a older Darex (M3?).
I've got Cincinnati #2 T&C grinder, but I've never done a drill bit on it.

Is it a carbide blade? If so I think I'd probably side with the others, though....I'm still leery.
The other day, I can't imagine how nasty it would feel to have one grab a saw blade and whisk least expect it.
Any brands specific for grinders? I want one with a kief catch I was browsing through some on Ebay got like twenty bucks. Thanks blades

Sharpstone, space case, any grinder.
Is a very good quality grinder that can last long with no problems.

Whirling blade grinders are best reserved use the chopper style grinder....
It is a clear instance of getting what you pay for .
I'm still using a blade grinder, but hope to upgrade.

All my spindles run at 1500rpm handles, 1500rpm spindle with... .
I used to have a 1400 rpm 18" wheeled grinder (6300Re: Linisher/belt grinder belt speeds? I can tell you what I run...
For blade roughing out .with a 36grit belt it rips .
