Although l had been living in a mild country, with a good air circulation within walls, humidity had throughout the years caused the appearance of yellow stains in many stamps.

Too dangerous for you and the stamps.
Forget about bleach with stamps.
It seems to work only on certain kind of paper .
Be fatal for a stamp, specially mint stamps.

I am thinking of getting the $5.00 wheres george stamp on stamp connection and was wondering which of the two colors i should get? should i go with the red or the blue? which one shows up better on bills?

A dilute solution of sodium thiosulfate should do the trick .
Ever wonder why pools need a stabilizer for it? The cyanuric (sp?) acid stops the bleach from being burned off by sunlight.
Any sunlight will kill bleach pretty quickly.
