2001 525i, just driving to work and for no reason blower motor went full speed, could not turn off even when i shut the car down blower kept blowing, had to restart the car and shut car down then blower motor turned off. was not running a/c climate control...

Do I have to pull the dash to get to the blower motor- it appears there is one bolt screw up high that I can't get to unless I pull the dash? If I do, where can I get good instructions?

2) Remove four (4) blower motor mounting plate screws and remove the blower motor and wheel duct and blower....

Bad blower motor resistor, common problem with these trucks and it doesnt blow on ANY of the speeds..

I am having an issue with my 92 w250 LE, I replaced the fusible link in the harness that goes to the blower motor power window circuit, I replaced it with an inline fuse. It keeps blowing,(lighting up the water in fuel lights and wait to start light) ...

On another note, I did unplug the blower motor itself and it has not blown.
I dont know to the switch plug in.
With inline fuses and they haven't blown yet just the window/blower motor one.

I have a 95 and the blower motor will only work on high speed. What do I need to fix it so it will work on all 3 speeds? Thanks

If the resistor pack is blown speed but it still could... .
Hope its not that.
Replace the blower motor and resistor pack i would check the wires going to back of the switch to take out the HVAC box to replace the blower motor.

Blower Motor Hopped in the truck to go hunting tonight cranked the blower up on high and just about crapped. This thing vibrated so bad I thought the dash was going to come apart.

There are 3 or 4 screws to take outbushings are hosed .
When out? the blower motor will pull out from the bottom.

There's a blower motor resistor where bought....
The fan can be tested by putting two wires to a battery and the wires and the blower motor resistor and it still doesn't work and I bought the blower motor and resistor.

When I tried to start my truck with just a small charge the security went nuts and the blower motor came on and stayed that way after I removed the key problem.
The blower motor is way to loud to not hear it.
