Hi,
My Ampeg BA115 has started blowing fuses as soon as i power on the amp.
I had been playing for around 20 minutes when all of a sudden I was greeted with a 'pop'. I opened the amp up to find the fuse had blown. I replaced it with a fast acting 3A 2...

We have blown three fuses in the spike connected to the 64...it is....
Fuses don't blow (20AMP fuse)
Wires have been double checked.
Gearbox, you can get 4 times as much torque before blowing the fuse as the 64:1.

I replaced the OEM wiper motor with a used motor, but the replacement is not from an 88 Esprit. The old motor was burned up and the replacement motor blows fuses.
Any suggestions as to the cause for this dilema?

If the fuse blow will be placed on the motor causing the fuse to blow.
Does the motor run before it blows?
Try 20 amps fuse and see what happens.
Of the battery.

Well at the moment I can't see them well.
That will create heat at the fuse, in turn making it blow at lower current than it is rated.
Suggestions? check to see if the fuse holders are blackened.

I have a 1983 2810 that takes spells blowing fuses and won't start. It's an inline 20A. in the hot wire off the solenoid going to the ignition switch. Not sure if it's original. Anyway, I've been up to my elbows repeatedly in the harness and can't see...

Usually fuses....
I've seen fuses blow because the wire's insulation has worn in a spot, shorting to ground.
When the fuse blows, is the wire hot? I have seen fuses blow.
G = 30 amp
You could cause a fire.

Had issues earlier with the ty and thought a new battery/starter/purple wire & alternator fixed it. Today it came back and stranded me. The original owner did a lot of bs wiring hackery and I am still trying to sort it.

Usually when a fuse goes, it means there's a short somewhere causing tube drawing....
Also, fuses don't just blow won't blow a fuse for no reason.
Store enough power to kill you many times over, so use proper safety gear .
