Well did your oil pressure ever spike and/or drop on your way home?
Have you checked it with a mechanical gauge now after the oil change?
Did you pull the intake hose off the turbo and check your seals? no spike or drop, but the dash ....

VW Passat blowing oil smoke!
Thought I'd run this by you guys.
Just got back from caravan weekend away.
Car slowed down and just managed to get home - no power.
Dropped off caravan.
Took car for run, 30mph max, blowing loads of smoke - smells like burnt...

So, after 188k miles, my turbo is puking quite a bit of oil into my air system. It is actually dripping from my charge cooler I guess I gotta leak I need to find there, dang it.
I was considering replacing my turbo with a slightly larger one to improve...

Used about 3/4 of a quart in a 70 mile run it if it is losing that much ....
Just finished a test drive to check oil consumption.
Is the oil level going down much? Are you sure it's not just coming from the ccv? Oil dripping itself.

Blowing oil at start up Friend has an older Yamaha 50 2 stroke motor that just started throwing oil on startup. The motor starts no problem, but it looks like the lower end is throwing out globules of contaiminated oil. It's not coming from the cooling...

Said is probably accurate, though there will always be some oil and water in the lines with an oiled usually takes the oil with it.

I had a 1994 evothat would blow oil capoff sleeve had slip .032 and cause head gaskets to blow and over pressure oil system...
Sounds like blow by cracked ring or valve guide cracked.

When i fire up my bike it will run for about 30 seconds and it blows the oil filter gasket out. it actually trys to blow the oil filter off. what would cause this?

I have tried the old one and two others.
I\m assuming you just change your oil and filter, did you make sure you removed the old oring gasket? Try the old oil filter and see if it blows off.

2001 Springer Softail. After about 10 miles it blows oil through the breather into carb and smokes like hell. Also leaks out of air filter when it fills up. Replaced breathers in rocker boxes. What's causing this and how do I fix it.

CheckMy best guess is that the ....
If out of phase it will allow excess oil blow off.
And I'm fairly certain it does exist.
Check compression dry then wet (squirt of oil in the spark plug.
Pressure caused by piston blow by.
