Hi im new to the site, been a mopar guy for years, and always liked the 78-81 style malibus..

406 motor in car, 150 compression on every cylinder except # 5 its at 70. at idle its at 65 psi...

Every time either for a while, with new spark plugs in it and when I pulled #5 plug it was a nice lite tan color with no oil on it at all...So heres the ....
Pressure, and also some oil was blowing out the front intake rail gasket...

So recently I replaced the PCV system, Cleaned the PTC although it was pretty clear, also did new air, fuel and oil filters along with oil change.
I recently bought and installed a stage 1 IPD ecu also.

Need a picture to really know what tube you're talking about the oil about inter-cooler hose, you need to clean and dry both sides of all oil residue, then spray both sides holds at the joint it will likely....

I have a 2006 diesel that is blowing oil from the breather tube.while it is idleing its smokes blue smoke, and runs rough 56000 miles. some friends say major engine problems. Any out there ever have this problem? What are your suggestions

Have any of you ever had a problem with a little bit of oil blowing out the breather on you compresser pump? the compressor in question is a hitachi gas powered twin pontoon, and is very new I dont know if it was because it was unlevel any ideas

What I dont get is why did it just start blowing oil, why did'nt it doHas it done this since start up? or did it run w/no blow by and then after a thousand miles or so the engine was plumbed correctly....

So I took the truck out today and I pulled it in today to do the Transgo install and I notice I am dripping oil on the garage floor. I open the hood and I have oil sprayed all over the left side of the engine. I had it set pretty high on my banks today...

Raw fuel most likely....
Injectors (not sealing when closed) allowing too much fuel into the combustion chambers and blowing past the rings and into the oil pan (because you have too many miles and the cylinder walls and rings are worn out).

If it's the rear, well I've never replaced it with a second seal .
If it has a hose coming out of a plastic have a failing oil pump o-ring, that could be the cause as well.
Look at the oil filler neck under the decorative cover.
