The Blu-ray 3D specification they get away with it by providing the 2D disc separately.

I have a BD-C6900 3D player and it will not read any blu-ray discs. It ejects 3d discs and regular blu-ray discs. It WILL read stadard DVDs though. Is there a firmware update that can fix this or how should I go about this?

If it's not playing Blu-Ray discs at all, it's pretty safe to say that there's a mechanical issue.
I put in a blu-ray disc, whether it be 3D or not, and it tries reading the disc.
Does not work.

A couple of years ago, there was the question who would be the successor of the DVD, the Blu-Ray disk or the HD-DVD. Now in 2009 I have to admit that I don't know why Blu-Ray won. Can anyone help me?

I recently bought a Samsung SH-B123 internal BD-ROM/DVD Writer drive. I installed it in my computer and ran the driver disc that came with it and it installed blu-ray media software called PowerDVD 9. The drive shows up in My Computer and functions normally...

I can't believe Win7 doesn't have Blu-Ray support yet. Having plugins open in the background breaks the 10Ft experience. PowerDVD (came with blu-ray player) is unusable from the couch.
