For Blu-Ray, as far as the drive itself, you really just need one that will actually READ the discs if software is installed.

I'm considering to buy all the 14 Season +Movies on DVD, but I would prefer High Definition Blu-ray discs instead of 100 piece of DVD. Blu-ray consumes less space on shelfs and brings significantly better quality. So my question; Is there a hope for Blu...

They didn't exactly go to a ton of trouble putting it on DVD, the prints are pretty sucky .
Seasons 1-9 would probably look ok on blu-ray but not sure about ready for Blu Ray.
I haven't heard any blu-ray news.

05-16-2012 12:27 PM I'm for the first time burning Blu-ray discs and submitting them to
festivals. Two questions:
1 - Are using LTH discs a bad idea?
2 - More generally, are there any tips I want to keep in mind when doing
this for festivals?

The rule of thumb is to make it as easy as possible for the festival to screen your film keeping mind that they probably aren't on the tech forefront .
05-18-2012 11:17 AM Verify this on a festival by festival basis as they are all different .
