I'm a bit slow & have just heard that my son's PS3 can play 3d blu-ray if I we upgrade firmware?
Or am I completely off track here? I havebeen before
I was about to buy a 3d plasma & 3d blu-ray player, but maybe I don't need the stand alone ...

It does not do it even in Win 7 RC.

Every Blu Ray player I have seen, will allow you to update via the internet OR a Flash Drive.
