I made blueberry muffins the other day and I didn't love the recipe, I'm going to try another one... BUT... all the blueberries fell to the bottom of the muffin. Is there a way to prevent that?

Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
1/3 cup sugar
Pinch salt
½ teaspoon nutmeg
3 teaspoons baking powder
Mix, than toss in 1 pt. washed and dried fresh Blueberrys
Mix ½ cup canola oil, ¾ cups milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 beaten egg.

I tried making some blueberry muffin bread from a store-bought mix and 1/3 of it was burnt but the rest was edible. What can I do to cook some bread of muffins in the outdoors?
