I've paired a Bluetooth headset to my iPhone and when I try to listen to music over Bluetooth with the display off, the audio stops when the display goes off, most of the time. Why is this? It makes the Bluetooth stereo audio of the phone pretty useless...

I use a pair of BlueAnt Stereo Bluetooth headphones with my iPhone 3GS and don't have this problem.
I don't know how much things have changed since the newer firmwares, but for a long time bluetooth.

Lately my bluetooth seems to turn itself off, then when I try to turn it back on, it times out once or twice before turning back on and working until the next time it fails. I don't have any power save features on so nothing I know about should be killing...

Exactly as the title says. No longer do you HAVE to have a Stereo Bluetooth Headset to listen music through it. Just search in Cydia for "Bluetooth Mono SBSettings Toggle" and make sure you have it enabled in SBsettings.

I reset the bluetooth setup (to my car in my instance) and then went to SBSettings and turned on the mono bluetooth setting Plantronics Voyager Pro Bluetooth....
This project up and fixes it for IOS 5 Actually I got it to work decent .

I have the Nokia 6700 and am unable to swith the bluetooth on as when you ask it to switch bluetooth on it just keeps scanning with the message "switching on bluetooth". Is there an easy solution as its driving me mad as I want to connect a hands free...

This could be done both by voice bluetooth audio volume (or sensitivity) setting as even at 100% it is too low for talking on the phone for the bluetooth....
Sometimes make turns very close together and you might miss the 2nd turn.

I have just bought a 07 S3 with bluetooth and sat nav.
My phone can connect to car and i can answer calls but i cant get phonebook up and i have to get phone out to dail.
Can this be done, if so how.

Since a lot of new cars allow you to play music from an iphone via bluetooth, will there be any objective quality loss? I'm assuming no because it's being digitally transmitted but I'm not 100% sure of how it works.
