The further down you go, the better the water is in my opinion be better spent further....
If they get rain down there and the river comes up 4"-6" then you will only have to drag in a couple of the low water, lots of dragging.

As I get more confident in my prospector I wondered if anyone had any photos or film of trad boats running nails stuff in the UK. Whats the hardest river or rapid anyone has run?

Yes, the river gets calm at times when the wind is down, and the boat traffic is low.
Last year me and a buddy were out and two BIG power boats went.

I've never owned or used a solo pontoon boat and I'm wondering which is the best to buy. I know a lot of you folks fish our rivers from one of these and wonder if you could point me in the right direction.

OK, nobody likes it when you`re moored up and your boat is moved around as another passes it, particularly on a shallow narrow canal, but exactly how slow is one supposed to go past moored boats ? ! ?

I was at a recent boat show in alabama and there were several elite pros there and they were talking about certain bass cat models hooking and throwing the driver and passengers from the boat. Has anyone else heard this?
