My Stubbs rock sliders are on the way. It has been stated by many members to do a BL before installing, if a BL was being considered. What are the Pros and Cons of a BL?

The body lift wasnt that hard - room to ....
Plus im interested in raising the gas tank up into the frame more .
That added clearance from the suspession lift by welding an 1 3/4 bar there so i ordered a 1.25" body lift.
Body Lift on Amarok Has anyone Completed a body lift? What are your experiences thus far? At this point in time I am only considering a body lift and not a suspension job. What have been the pros and cons for those who have done it?

Would it be ok to put a 1" body lift ontop of a 3" suspension lift, I don't wheel much and if I do it's light trails. I have a 2009 DC 4x4 with hitch, what kind of problems do body lifts cause? would the steering column need to me lengthened or anything...

My dad has ran a 3 inch body lift on his.
Slam on the brakes and watch the cab slide off the frame .
Anybody out there? is anyone running a setup like this? I'd highly recommend against a body lift...
I've got a 2006 F150 Fx4 Scab and I'm getting ready to buy the PA 3" Body Lift from Amazon.com and was hoping some people on here had a leveled truck with a 3" body lift with some 35s on it. Any and all pics are greatly appreciated.

I would have someone do the body lift since you have to weld in an extension the body lift since you have to weld in an extension for the 4x4 shifter if equipped! If you can post some pics that would be awesome....

I have a 2002 zr2 and i'm looking to do a body lift on it. Now I wasn't always a fan of body lifts but i have seen some that look really good, so if anyone has done one like a 2'' or higher and would post some pictures or have any advice would be great...

General lifting/ and I'm sure....
You can do a t-bar tweak and rear shackle and get approx 1.5" lift.
Others hate them, but in person these truck are lifted.
Lots of info on that here.
It's a gen one s10 body lift.
So I'm looking to gain ground clearance but at the same time I don't want to potentially "ruin" anything on the truck. I'm goin to put 33" tires on it but want it to be high. People say the suspension lift is the way to go but other people think the body...

The key is that the body lift (BL) lifts the body up higher off the frame....
To run 33's on a first gen you HAVE to have a body lift, either that or get a sawzall out The second and I can tell you how to do it..

I have the 3" PA body lift and cranked the tortion bars up years ago.
You can haul your boat, camper, trailer, etc truck will look like .
As for body lift.
So all it cost me was an alignment.
Is it ok to lift a body off the frame, if the doors are off and the floors as tacked pretty good in there? This would be done so that I can attend to the floor pans underneath...weld them in and stuff. Anyone have suggestions for the body to be very secure...

It seems like most guys utilize the front and rear body mounts when mounting to a rotisserie.
If your body is structurally or not.
Of the rockers and used 4 jack stands near the ends to hold the body up.

I am wanting to do a 3" suspension lift on my 05 toyota tacoma. The recommended tire size is 31". So my question is if i put an 1.5 body lift in will i be able to fit 33's or 35's?

Which company says a 31" will fit on their 3" suspension lift btw? oh and mind you if wanting to run a full 3" ....
You will have to do some trimming and possibly a cab mount chop if you wheel the truck .
A 285/75/16 with a 6 lug 3" lift.
