I would think that a good canal cuiser design would fit inside on the bow, like the Higgins boat....
Perhaps post directly on Boat Design net for insight into canal boat design.

Simplest and least....
Seem to sail quite well for not having a board in the bottom of the boat that way I can film the fish as I am sneaking up on the birds any thoughts to eyeball with them.

I've done with that -- the boat just looks quite a bit heavier.
All you have to do is lift up one end at a time .
A boat of this weight, size and shape - solo.
