How Do Ruger Bolt Actions Compare?
With the Cereberus destruction of Remington, I acquired two M77s and they are fabulous. True 3 position safety, fabulous trigger, and excellent shooters.

A bolt action shotgun?
My dad has an old hammered bolt-action 20 ga, the box magazine won't stay together outside the gun, but it holds together when I shoot it. I guess it's been about 20 years ago I took it out with the remains of the box of 20 ga to see if it still worked, it did.

Bolt-action shotguns?
If no one has abused the choke, then it is probably a pretty good shotgun with a lot of use left in it. Sold one years ago that was a tube fed bolt gun, seen a lot of the detachable mag fed versions over the years.

Has anyone seen this Bolt-action 12 gauge?
Bolts were still pretty common back in the 1950''s and 60's. Cheap to buy and a little faster for repeat shots than a single shot.
I still shoot my dad's old Mossberg bolt action once in a while, and it dates back to the 30's. Check it over and if everything looks OK it might be useful as a pheasant gun.

Yugoslavian Mauser bolt action junk?
The mismatched and worn examples are not so good, but when found in matching, little-used condition they are an excellent value. I can't think of a better bolt-action milsurp for the price.
