That only took about eight+1 I have some folders on bookmarks bar and i would like to drag and drop on other folders or take a bookmark and drop ....

Yahoo was working on them and it caused lots of problems .
Almost everyone had problems alphabetizing bookmarks prior to November.
Maybe you can try manage the bookmarks with Bookmark Flash ,and sync the data with DropBox ..

Is there any way to either rename the "Bookmarks Toolbar" item in the Bookmarks menu, or assign a keyboard hotkey to it?
Between 2.3.1 and 2.8, this item was called "Personal Bookmarks" and could be accessed from the keyboard by Alt-B followed by P.

I use Delphi for many years, and although I have now moved on to Visual Studio I still fondly remember numbered bookmarks (CTRL+K+1 to set bookmark 1, CRTL+Q+1 to goto bookmark 1).
Is there a Visual Studio equivalent? I'm find the dumb bookmarks in VS...

It is under the the wrench menu and requires google account as the bookmarks are stored in your google docs and machine independant.

Assuming we're talking about Firefox 3 or better, the bookmarks are kept in a SQLite file...?
I don't know about all the features you've mentioned but "Organize bookmars" option in the Bookmarks menu is pretty decent with respect....

So iCloud is a fail so far - 2 Macs (one a home, one a work) and they are not syncing bookmarks. At least not any bookmarks in the Menu Bar. But I keep ALL my bookmarks in the menu Bar.
Anyone have a clue when iCloud will be able to sync all bookmarks...

Assuming a variable named url containing the URL you want to request... .
Having never developed a plugin myself, I'm not certain how this is typically done in plugins, but since plugin scripting is JavaScript, I can probably help out with the loading part .

Why don't you check if the bookmark exists before inserting the name but it's not working for me.
