I recently bought myself a ASUS EEE 1000HE and I intend to use it for note-taking and light that it is too slow booting and the general experience is too heavy in my opinion. Moblin 2: Looks very cool on a 512MB SD Card. Boots fast and drivers fits ok on eeepc.
