Ubuntu, from which I have escaped to Kubuntu today, has a Startup Manager that allowed me to change the order/default of which operating system I want to boot into (I have a multiple-boot setup).
Where can I do that in Kubuntu?

Edit: There isn't an opption the ATI driver and I'm able to boot....
Live mode won't boot and gives me the same error.
And the Live USB will only boot into the installer.
See if I can disable it once I get finished downloading updates .

Do you have an Ubuntu install CD or USB drive? In that case, boot a live session from it and see a boot CD or USB from it)!
Good luck do i run e2fsck from live session, after unmount root partiton.
