I thought Debian would replace Xandros, then i tried most other distributions...
Well today (April 23, 2012) I have just reinstalled Xandros and i think it is what i was missing.
Ok i am an old guy and maybe i just like old things heheh.
I just hope others...

There's no exact replacement for Xandros, but the Linux world has changed ....
I'll probably install Mint when I get a new computer, but as long as my old box keeps running, I'll just leave Xandros on it.
I'm still using Xandros, too.

I am not familiar with Mac apps so sorry was the link I meant to put in .
That was way: : created a boot disk using the Disk Utility on my Mac.
I burned a DVD disk and used my external DVD burner to install Xandros to my EEEPC 900.

Replace Esc with F2 mean by "boot screen", but if you mean....
If you are trying to access the BIOS (to change the boot order) ..
OK, I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "boot screen", but if you mean the "boot device selection.

Μπορεις να δεις με καποιο τροπο το boot συσκευες εκανα εγκατασταση και δεν μπορουσε να κανει boot γιατι σταματουσε για πολυ ωρα σε ενα σημειο νομιζα οτι ηταν απλη διανομη αλλα διαψευτηκα....
Δε νομιζω οτι εχει σχεση το γεγονος οτι εχεις δισκο sata .
