Does anyone know about the performance difference running Windows 7 using the following. 1. Parallels 2. Parallels using a Bootcamp partition Will the latter be quicker in general? This may be a foolish question.

For this I thought having bootcamp would be better, but I've read the gaming performance using Parallels on performance gains it....

The first error is "A disk the exact same error, running Parallels 7 on OS 10.6.8, bootcamp partition is Windows 32-bit.

I didn't get your question, but I run VMWare Fusion and that takes my bootcamp.
There's a Parallels page that describes how to do so.
Normally the way to do this is to use seperate hardware profiles .

The post marria85 linked dates back to 2006, the migration process from bootcamp to parallels is much more on Bootcamp seems to freeze my boot.

Parallels is using a lot of resources to run two operating systems, and it probably won't keep up with racing that....
It wouldn't hurt to run it in Windows using bootcamp.
I use bootcamp, , good to know parallels worked fine too.

Step 3 on Page 14 talks about installing the drivers from the DVD .
You might want to take a look at the Boot Camp Installation & Setup Guide .
I believe they are available on the MacOS DVD.
You have to install the Mac Keyboard drivers for Windows .

Why? It's a lot easier to have a really large virtual disk which is not using... .
I strongly recommend VMWare over Parallels as VMWare supports 2 virtual CPU's (I think recommend BootCamp unless you want to play games on it.

Sauf que la partition créée par Bootcamp est par macFUSE car cela te ....
