I've put one on my registry but not sure if I really need it. I will be breast feeding and probably pumping too. We'd like DH to be able to feed her sometimes. Is a bottle warmer a necessity?

It can melt the bottle used a bottle warmer....
We had a bottle warmer and I could never get the amount of water right to put the Playtex drop-ins which we use should not go into a bottle warmer.
And it's free.

As far as the bottle warmer? I really don't know.
IMO, the salesperson is trying to make a sale.

DD1 the kettle, ....
I didn't heat bottles.
On ds i had a bottle warmer but hated it.
Room temp here as well on dd.
Very quick and handy.
The bottle warmer as it came with the steriliser and honestly found it a godsend.

Any recommendation regarding bottle warmers? I will be bfing but will be returning to work so baby will be on bottles once I return.

Just purchased the first years bottle warmer didn't use a bottle warmer - just a tupperware of hot water.
And used the First Years brand...no complaints.
Is it really necessary? What are your thoughts? For second time moms, did you find it useful?

I always nuked a bowl of water and stuck the bottle, I found a bottle warmer more convenient than warming up water for the bottle to sit in before eachI found it useless....

Don't get it! We just run hot water from the sink over it is first thing... .
With my DS we had a regular bottle warmer and it never really warmed up the milk well - no matter how a bottle warmer and it is just collecting dust....

I use the Munchkin brand warmer....
If I have to warm it up super fast, I boil a little water and stick the bottle in it for less than a min.
After free.
Not worth it.
It has different levels and does the job quick.
I love our Avent warmer.
Hey can anyone recommend a gud bottle warmer dat will fit dr browns bottles??was using microwave but tink babs getting very windy,was using jug and hot water,but at night a disaster! how do people prepare their feeds for night time?in advance in fridge...

I used a boots brand one, and it fit them fine .
I use the microwave to warm feeds made in advance that are stored in the fridge .
I don't use it though.
I have the Avent one here and Dr Browns bottles fit perfectly.
