Any suggestions on the best way to carry fluid on a run? In the past I have just cached water along my route, but I can't do this on trails. I figure I have four options:
1. Hand held water bottle. 2. Camel pack. 3. Belt with a big bottle in the back....

I've used it successfully.
I have also small frame, Specialized Era 26er and for that bike I used to use Pro race bottles with the Epic bikes.

Then I rinse like crazy so there isn't anyBleach + soap + water.
Bottoms, plastic hideys with dried on poo, or water bottles.

The camelbak is pretty cool, but honestly kind of a pita to clean and dry. there are times i'd rather use a bottle for short rides but they keep getting tossed on the trail. any cage suggestions?

Water bottles for me, Camelback is only for long / hot rides.
Anything it for auditory pleasure alone...
I still use water bottles for short local rides.
Hopefully they'll hold up to off road use.
